I got the ember tetras in the tank and it's nice to see them all schooling around getting to know each other and the mystery friend a dwarf frog! He's being shy right now, hiding in the plants, but he was a little derp in the pet store. Also added a starship, maybe the fish can get going again.

I'm on a mission to find Ember Tetras. I've been to like six pet stores today and nobody has them. Why is there a shortage all of this sudden? I did see these big ass koi though so that cool.

#TankUpdate New fishy friends! I moved the endlers and ember tetras over into the 29. I wanted to get a handful more of each, but for some reason none of the pet stores around me have either. So I picked up five Endler's Cobra guppies. They're pretty cool looking and so far seem to be adapting well.

Murf is used to competition for food. She has a really great strategy where she breaks a large piece off and holds it in her foot and then just eats at her leisure. Sideway, upside down, it doesn't matter. She's just monching.

Tank update. I think this is its final form. I threw some more rocks in there and got a pre-built cave in the center as well as adding more sand. 4 more coreys joined the tank today. They're adapting well. The original 3 all chose their own cave. Feeding multiple times a day till the tank matures.

Tank update - I might be jumping the gun a little bit, but I went ahead and put the three coreys and Murf and Sweetpea, the two mystery snails, in the new 29 gallon tank. I think today's day 8. There's algae on the glass and I use lots of seasoned wood and filter media in setup so it's cycled.

Just raking my sand. A perfectly sane and cromulent thing to do.

#TankUpdate This is the 10 gallon that's actually closer to 7. Sweet pea, the golden mystery snail and Murf, the ivory mystery snail, are still doing well. The Livebearers are feisty, the Ember Tetras are stoic as ever, and there's a healthy population of both shrimp and bladder snails. #🐌 #🐟

Tank update! This is the five gallon riparian setup. It's got Petey the pea pufferfish, and lots of assorted neocaridnia shrimp. This tank is almost completely self sufficient. I just have to supply it with some snails for pete and water changes occasionally. #🦐 #🐡

Aaaand my toaster oven timer just died. Lol. Lmao even! WTF is going on today? #cursed

Some shrimp are smarter than others. It seems this one here has grabbed a morsel of food and brought it up to the glass with him, getting a whole piece to himself. #🦐

Hunting for diner for them babies, no doubt. Takes a lot of food to feed them babies. Look at the size of them!
