🔥 “The warmth can be felt.” - a couple on the video St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region came under one of the largest drone attacks since the start of the war on the opening day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Fuel shortages are rapidly spreading across Russia and the temporarily occupied territories. St. Petersburg, Ryazan, Kursk, and Belgorod have fuel purchase limits now, and Sevastopol has stopped fuel sales entirely. This is only the start. It will keep getting worse, quickly.

I am not suggesting anything, of course. But a queue of fuel tankers waiting to reach occupied Crimea by ferry is certainly an interesting sight. Tankers spend 4–5 days waiting for a crossing because much of the ferry fleet is no longer available.

Six people were killed and 36 injured during Russia’s overnight attack on the Dnipro region. Among the dead in Dnipro was a firefighter. A second strike hit while rescuers were responding to the aftermath of the first attack.

⛽️Crimea is running out of petrol. The largest gas station chains on the occupied peninsula have stopped issuing fuel coupons. Moscow’s appointed authorities tried to limit petrol sales, but the shortage turned out to be stronger. So much for “Russia came forever.”

The fuel situation in Crimea has collapsed. After further strikes on the Feodosia oil depot and on fuel truck supply routes, AI-95 gasoline is only available via vouchers, and AI-92 will be limited to 20 liters per purchase. And it will get worse. A LOT worse.

🔥 Overnight, Ukrainian drones destroyed an Iskander missile system and two Tu-142 aircraft at the military airfield in Taganrog. The Tu-142 is a maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft designed to detect and destroy enemy nuclear submarines.

In Phase 1, Ukraine focused on destroying the enemy's air defence. In Phase 2, Ukraine is focused on destroying the enemy's supply lines. In Phase 3, Ukraine will focus on destroying the occupiers and liberating our temporarily occupied territories.

The logistics lockdown campaign, combined with drone sanctions on Russian refineries, is quickly having an impact. Crimea once again has massive fuel shortages, with most stations running out and those few with fuel imposing purchase limits. And summer hasn't even begun yet.🔥

🔥 Almost all central Russian refineries, which provide 25% of diesel and 30% of gasoline refining capacity, are mostly or fully offline due to drone sanctions. And it's only May. This summer will be a very hot one indeed. Remember, there are no waivers for drone sanctions.😎

The preliminary cause of the explosion at the gas station in Russia’s Pyatigorsk was a safety violation during the unloading of a gas tanker. A small thing, as the saying goes, but still pleasant to observe.
