Today I declared the Bradleys Head Naval Memorials as a Military Memorial of National Significance. This declaration recognises the significance of the site to our current and former serving naval personnel and the wider community.

Having a safe place to call home is something that should never be taken for granted.  Today I was so pleased to turn the sod on the “Legacy on Albany” Veterans’ Housing Support project, building 12 units for crisis and transitional housing for veterans and families in Coffs Harbour.

The Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants support communities to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service personnel. Sharing knowledge, experiences, and understanding of all Australia’s wars, conflicts, peacekeeping operations, and of course our people.
