At the start of this week, I was asked about Trump potentially striking Iran. My answer was pretty straight forward, Trump has not articulated a clear reason why we are taking military action and what the goal is.

For America 250 we could have had Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and others preform for our nation’s birthday if we had a Democrat in office. Now Trump is having even D-list celebrities cancel on him because he is turning the event into a party for and about himself.

Americans do not support Trump’s Iran war of choice. Even some MAGA folks are saying this isn’t America fist. Every day President Trump breaks another campaign promise.

Trump’s first year has been one of f@scism and failure. He can try to lie all he wants, but the data is the data. Inflation is up, unemployment is up, and Trump doesn’t give a sh*t about you and your family.

Afghan refugees shouldn’t be punished for the violent actions of one man. If we send Afghans who worked with us back to Afghanistan they will be killed by the Taliban. We should not pursue a policy of collective punishment. We are a better country than that.

Trump is losing on immigration. Democrats should not provide a single vote to fund the goverment unless it includes commone sense reforms to restrain ICE.

Trump is raising your costs with his Iran war of choice. He said he doesn't think about Americans’ financial situation while creating a $1.8 billion slush fund for Jan 6th insurrectionists. Everything about the Trump presidency is a grift at the expense of working Americans.
