I guess they don't want to be in 40+ mph traffic either. This is why we shouldn't have 35 mph streets in the middle of downtown, especially when the avg speed is <10 with the traffic lights. The traffic engineers understand average speed challenge: impossible.

Another one today. Build a 2way protected bike lane on a one way street and criminal drivers use it to drive the wrong direction 🤦‍♂️
