Constituents in Glasgow West are rightly concerned after the closure of the last bank at Anniesland Cross. Too many people now lack access to in person banking. I’ve taken up this issue & welcome the Govt's recently announced review of access to face to face banking services.

In a recent debate on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome & Craniocervical Instability I spoke about my constituent Jo & the fact that in Scotland patients can wait up to 20 years for diagnosis. I sincerely hope a better treatment pathway can be found for people with these conditions.

Constituents continue to raise concerns about Royal Mail delivery delays. In less than two months local residents will be awaiting their Scottish Parliament polling cards & postal votes. Royal Mail must ensure they are delivered on time so that voters aren’t disenfranchised.

I've long supported the WASPI Women campaign & I disagree with the Government’s decision on compensating them. The majority of pensioners on lower incomes are women & their anger about the increase in pension age is understandable. I expressed my disappointment to the Minister.

I'll always do what I can to help local residents. Recently, I highlighted unacceptable delays experienced by a constituent trying to renew their driving licence with DVLA. I was pleased to hear action is being taken to improve their systems & will be following this up with Govt.👇

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is desperate & the Israeli Govt's decision to ban dozens of respected aid agencies from working there is an act of cruelty. I want to see the ban lifted and the Rafah crossing opened, and called on the UK Govt Minister to help make that happen.

10 million people have already been displaced in Sudan, more than half of them children. I asked the @FCDOGovUK Minister what action can be taken to support them & their families. I'm pleased the Govt is working with organisations like UNICEF to get support to the children.
