Uhmmmm… Buttigieg shot your theory in the heart.

In 2001, when Obama was unheard of nationally, Buttigieg sounded the same as he does now. Asking a question as a freshman at Harvard.

When has Buttigieg ever said he did not support transgender people?

You’ll make your choice when you enter the booth on primary day. Who will influence your decision? I’m choosing the person I think is most qualified to rebuild what the fascist have torn down. The person who has presented a detailed vision of what that should be is… Pete Buttigieg.

How will you decide who gets your vote? Here’s what Pete Buttigieg said when asked on the Flagrant podcast if a gay could be elected POTUS.

Yes, he *can* win. He’s done it before.

Pete has been writing a book that he’s hinted will address the issues of reestablishing a functioning government. This clip is a preview of his thoughts when being interviewed by Kara Swisher back in September. The full interview is my pinned post.

When Buttigieg appeared on the Flagrant podcast he was asked if a gay could be elected POTUS.

Racism didn’t prevent Obama from winning - two times. Democrats and liberal leaning Independents far outweigh Republicans. It’s a matter of getting them to the polls. Buttigieg was asked on the Flagrant podcast if a gay could get elected POTUS. His answer šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

Pete was asked if a gay could be elected during his appearance on the Flagrant podcast a few months ago. His answer…

Excuse you???? What the hell are you referring to? Listen šŸŽ§

Pete Buttigieg is not transphobic. As a member of the President’s cabinet he has voiced his supports for transgender people to millions on numerous occasions without hesitation.

The overarching theme of his campaign, as he laid out in 2019, was structural democratic reform. Most people how no clue he was so very little attention was paid to him. But he has been paying attention to what needs to be done for many years.

4 1

That’s not the stance that Buttigieg has taken during the years he has been a member of the LGBTQ community. Are you implying that he has deviated from this position that he expressed to millions while holding a federal cabinet office? Please provide evidence of him reverting to transphobia.

The actions that Buttigieg is calling for are not new policies for him. He’s been talking about structural democratic reform since 2019. He sees the big picture and believes that the constitution needs to be amended. Gerrymandering doesn’t solve the structural problem.

Buttigieg is known as the *architect* of the $1.2 Trillion infrastructure bill because President made him the lead negotiator/lobbyist for ushering it thru Congress.

You just outed yourself as trying to label a politician without doing research on their policy positions, previous accomplishments, or plans for reformation. Start here:

This Pete Buttigieg who went on national TV in front of millions while in federal office as a cabinet secretary… Defending trans people in sports and every other life situation? You are unbelievably misinformed.

I don’t think he’d put the country at risk of another GOP admin if he didn’t think he could win. It isn’t an ego trip for him as he’s firmly committed to doing what’s best for the country.

All things are possible. Listen to Pete answer the question…

1 1

Pete Buttigieg has talked about it for years and emphasized it, along with expanding the Supreme Court to depolitize it. He believes we need basic structural reform to shore up our democracy.

3 1

In fact, he’s always upheld the rights of LGBQT people even as a cabinet member. Please elaborate on why you think he’s no longer supportive of his own community since that should be totally opposite to everything he’s stood for for years.

1 1

Buttigieg definitely tries to mimic Obama. He obviously was practicing those techniques when in college as is evidenced by this question he asked at a Harvard IOP session.

I think Pete explained it best when asked on a conservative leaning podcast if America was ready for a gay president.

In case you haven’t researched Pete Buttigieg’s healthcare plan, here is how he describes it. Both AOC & Elizabeth Warren originally supported Bernie’s version of Medicare for All, but eventually migrated more toward Pete’s as more doable.

There are fundamental issues that need to be addressed that require rethinking the constitution. Buttigieg talks of this often. His #1 issue is getting corporation influence/money out of politics which likely involves an amendment. The sooner we tackle that, the better.

Pete Buttigieg is a member of the LGBTQ community & has advocated for trans people, especially kids, to participate in sports. He did this as a federal official serving in the President’s Cabinet in front of millions on national TV. What gives you that impression He has abandoned them now?

What were those projects? The *reconnecting communities* was a major one. So, you spew garbage when you imply he cannot follow thru on his policies. But, that’s not news to anyone who follows leftists with their purity testing. They’re forever way off base. Cont…

I figured you’d spew you leftist garbage to try discounting Buttigieg without doing *any* research. So very typical of low info extremeists. He already did the reconnecting communities… You know how? Buttigieg was proclaimed as the architect of the infrastructure bill. Cont…

Yes he did.

A candidate running in the 2020 Democratic primary recommended those very ideas. Pete Buttigieg.

5 0

Where do these ridiculous ideas about Pete come from? And why would you believe them without researching before spewing all over social media? Listen till the end of this clip.

Pete explains what will need to happen when Republicans are no longer in power.

He reiterated the need to think about democratic reforms in an interview he did last year. This clip is from that interview which is my pinned post.

5 3

He is the only potential candidate I’ve heard that gives a concise answer to the reforms that need to happen when the current admin is no longer in power. Have you heard of any other ideas that are more on target? This clip is from an interview that is my pinned post.
