Young grey squirrel 🐿️ in the bird feeder.

A bit better view of one.

The puppies were not happy about these visitors. Four of them with some I couldn’t see well until they made a run for under the low part of the side deck.

And can’t forget the Bluejays

They come by often this year with an occasional indigo bunting making an appearance.

The bird feeder is returned to regularly scheduled programming ;-) Meaning birds instead of mammals.

Even turning on the siren on the squirrel cam did not much phase it. Warning ⚠️ turn sound down before playing the clip.

Still some water flowing through the backyard from the rains. Falls off a 80-90 foot bluff from there to the #Arkansas River.

The blue colored finch finally came back to the feeder.

Bird feeder cam back in operation with a new battery.

A raccoon dropped by. Took the easy way and went down to the deck for the bird feed I had spilled working on the feeder. Battery no longer holding a charge from the solar panel or USB-C charger. I had a spare and a replacement will be here tomorrow. Advantages of using a regular Wyze camera.

Work along the river bank while empty chemical barges are being pushed upriver on a rainy day. Life on the #Arkansas River.

Cover me, I’m going in!

Sound up for Penn enjoying his ears being rubbed while Teller naps.

Didn’t go for it this time but was really considering it. Apparently a prior attempt had flipped down the top of the bird feeder. Four squirrels out at the feeders today. They are ganging up on me ;-) 2/2

Houston, we have a problem ;-) Not sure how this squirrel managed to get to the bird feeder.

12 1

The rosy finches are about the only ones that chirp much while eating. The sound of rain in the nearby downspout is in the background.

Starting extra early today

12 1

Teller on high alert about the squirrels out on his deck. The puppies can easily get to this area by going out through their doggy door from the garage.

12 1

Clean up duty down on the deck.

11 1

Put out a corn 🌽 on the cob and some banana for a holiday treat for the squirrels.

13 2

Looks like another busy day at the bird 🐦 feeder

15 2

The early bird for today. Barely the crack of dawn.

Indy 500 just finished. Now have the Canadian F1 on. New for me to be watching F1 races. Indy seemed less sophisticated and complex by comparison. Only two brands of cars involved apparently, Honda and Chevrolet.

Enough squirrel feed, time for a drink.
