San Diego is home to thousands of Afghan refugees who risked their lives to support U.S. troops. We owe them the protection they were promised. This Small Business Week I visited Old Town - the birthplace of California! It was great to tour small businesses and talk to the owners about how I can advocate for them in Washington. And following Cinco De Mayo, I enjoyed honoring CA50’s Mexican American culture in this nostalgic neighborhood.
