ok heres a new pico 8 puzzle game i made today

toolkit for pico 8 rpgs w tabletop dice rolls

making progress. added a "junk" system for upgrades. find broken items underwater (if you have the empty slots), then bring them back to your ship to repair or salvage them. or just discard them in the depths. also this cool bomb (yes its weird that theres fire underwater lol)

this giant gif is probably incomprehensible but i figured out how to move data between pico8 carts via direct memory manipulation and wrote myself a suite of functions for it and i think if somebody tried to take me out rn the bullet would see my smile and apologize

experiment/proof of concept i jammed out over the weekend for an rpg hero autobattler betting game. here its just a 4 person arena fight, in a fleshed out version they would be going thru a dungeon fighting monsters as a team, then fighting over the treasure. and thered be classes/magic/items etc

ok i have failed the 48 hour game jam. got close but didnt come together and i dont feel like crunching for the next 3 hours to force it to. my idea was to make two games with a connected resource system. in hindsight that means i tried to make two games in 48 hours lmao. happy with how far i got <3

was a struggle to figure it out but i got this re-scaled back down to 160x144. makes room for smaller enemy sprites (important for scope) plus it just feels right

actually added a new system to 10S FOREVER for the upcoming holiday update - powerups!! finally something happens when you get max heat but already have full life, you get a choice of 3 temporary shmuppy powerups i like this one a lot - "P" upgrade that lets you shoot bullets with every hit
