Today, I once again asked the MN legislature to support my bipartisan bill to fight Medicaid fraud. We convicted 300+ people for Med Fraud since I’ve been AG but the law hasn’t kept up with the need. We need stronger tools to investigate and prosecute and protect public dollars.

This MLK Day, I'm thinking of Dr. King and the civil rights leaders who fought for years, without knowing how their story would end. I will always fight to protect our rights and democracy and ensure every Minnesotan can live with dignity, safety, and respect. No exceptions.

I’m grateful to Judge Biery for helping to bring Liam Ramos and his father Adrian home. But it is a sign of how far we are from the normal rule of law that a judge even had to issue a decision like this one.

Exciting news! Our bill, the MAP Act, passed in both the House and Senate and is headed to the Governor's desk to be signed into law. This will give my office more resources to fight fraud and protect vulnerable Minnesotans.
