In NC, the Deep River's Ramseur dam was originally constructed in the early 1900s to power a sawmill. Built largely of river rock, time had since taken its toll: the gates on the dam were broken and water continuously seeped through the structure. 🎉Learn more: www.americanrivers.org/ramseur-dam-...
