We’ve really fucked up. Hail in Greece, SST records blitzed, temperatures through the roof in India, floods, fires, droughts, what’s going to happen when the storms hit? London? Madrid?Paris? Our esteemed oligarchs are playing Russian Roulette with our lives & life & we’re losing all over the place!

As the planet heats thermodynamics say that the atmosphere will hold 7% more water for every 1°C of warming. Remember Valencia? Once the heat dome goes, it’s going to happen again, a major rain event will happen in the next couple of weeks that’s virtually certain. STOP FOSSILS!

The more I learn the more I realise how little I know. No wonder govt’s want to control social media, it gives people like me access to experts rather than relying on tv & newspapers which are & have failed humanity by ignoring the truth & scientific reality. Shame on them!

Riddle me this. Why is it that even though we know & have known for decades that burning fossil fuels will destroy our planet, we want to expand them? We are so close to disaster & yet we don’t even discuss it, why? We’re not stupid, just obviously suicidal. Our kids are fucked!

As the Super El Niño builds the effects of record heat in the oceans is changing normal, if normal exists anymore, temperatures which are expected to be above 15°C higher than usual. South West Spain is forecast to bake!We’re destroying life on earth at an ever increasing pace.

Carbon capture is essential if we’re to survive. The fact of the matter is that CO2 levels need to be reduced to ~350ppm. The only way we can achieve that is to reduce emissions massively & increase natural carbon sinks to a point where we are decreasing atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations.

It’s unbeflippinglievable, here we are a gnats cock away from catastrophic climate collapse & 46% of people are as happy as Larry with Press standards. Sometimes I feel like giving up! NASA scientists say the jigs up & our Press says nothing about us exceeding tipping points & killing billions!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

It’s great that the Greens are surging, looking at the stats’s on recent emissions & studying the science of climate tipping points all say, time’s up! The truth is the world has to operate sustainably to avoid destroying life on earth, we’re a gnats cock away from apocalyptic dystopia & starvation!

Electing a convicted rapist as president surprisingly doesn’t seem to be going too well does it. Nothing says that the system is bust more than the people running it & from Starmer to Putin & Trump it’s clear that virtually all of the world’s countries are run by complete & utter crooks & numpty’s.

Speaking as a historian my opinion is that subjugation of people’s is achieved through war & authoritarianism. Those are the tools historically employed by our rulers. But now they’re killing everything & destroying the planet to boot. The answer isn’t to carry on regardless therein lies extinction!

As we head inexorably to 2°C of global warming I can’t stop thinking about the impact on humanity & the natural world. What sort of cretin knowingly facilities the death & destruction 2° means? The problem is we’re looking on track for 4°, shit show doesn’t seem adequate does it?

Until humanity realises that money is the problem & gets shot of it, we’re not going to move anywhere except to extinction. The system has got us here & although there’s some positives, the simple truth is that it’s destroying life on earth & wasting limited resources for cash. It’s unsustainable.

The problem is that economies don’t work for the vast majority & certainly aren’t working for the planet. We’re on the verge of climatic tipping points being exceeded. Emissions are still rising despite the fact that the science unequivocally warns us of the disaster that means. We need a sea-change

Let’s be honest, if politicians were fit for purpose, we simply wouldn’t be in the final throes of civilisation. The fact that scientifically speaking we are, speaks volumes about their failure, they couldn’t run a bath, they’ve put our world on the edge of war, climate breakdown & an end to life.🔥

All things considered I’m certain that we need rid of politics & the era of pollution. You know better than most what impact the climate emergency is having on food & the natural world. On top of that we’re not in the EU despite importing >40% of our food. Politics isn’t fit for purpose or survival🤷‍♂️

COP30 is burning up nearly as fast as the planet. The delegates will no doubt debate the level of threat & come up with some solutions at COP40.
