Emissions are still rising despite the fact that the science unequivocally warns us of the disaster that means. We need a sea-change

Why don’t people recognise that politics is the problem. Assemblies aren’t the answer, they’ll make things worse, the answer is a world wide council of experts, sharing resources equally, ensuring sustainability & nurturing nature. If politics worked we wouldn’t be going extinct!

Riddle me this. Why is it that even though we know & have known for decades that burning fossil fuels will destroy our planet, we want to expand them? We are so close to disaster & yet we don’t even discuss it, why? We’re not stupid, just obviously suicidal. Our kids are fucked!

Carbon capture is essential if we’re to survive. The fact of the matter is that CO2 levels need to be reduced to ~350ppm. The only way we can achieve that is to reduce emissions massively & increase natural carbon sinks to a point where we are decreasing atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations.

The more I learn the more I realise how little I know. No wonder govt’s want to control social media, it gives people like me access to experts rather than relying on tv & newspapers which are & have failed humanity by ignoring the truth & scientific reality. Shame on them!

Losing everything, which according to the science is where we’re going, seems a tad silly considering how obvious the answer is. Humanity needs to go to war against emissions, pollution, biodiversity loss & inequality & it must start now. The status quo is existentially flawed!
