In August, Democrats in FL-13 have a clear choice: the donor‑backed establishment candidate working for the interests of a few, or a grassroots campaign built on years of fighting for what matters. My goal in D.C.? To restore stability, and advocate for the affordable, dignified life we deserve.
Attending three Memorial Day events, mindful of the origins of this solemn day. One month after the Civil War ended, recently-freed African Americans in Charleston, worked to reinter Union War fallen soldiers. They held a gathering to honor their sacrifices and the meaning of the war itself. ✊🏾🇺🇸🇺🇦
We want to remind Rep. Luna that we divorced a king 250 years ago — and no, we don’t have kingmakers either. And friends, let’s be clear: our own representative in title is giddy about doing whatever this corrupt administration demands, including pushing the SAVE Act — which is NOT a voter ID bill.
Donald Trump’s latest corruption scheme is deeply offensive to all Americans because it is fundamentally un-American. While every day Americans are struggling, those that fought AGAINST our democracy are being rewarded. In Congress, I will work to oppose corruption at every level. #brandtforcongress
Here's a clip from an amazing meet and greet in April. We had deep conversations which spanned a diverse array of topics. This specific clip is about aiming to understand why some of us vote against our interests, potentially at the cost of others, and calling for curiosity rather than judgment.
This is an all‑hands‑on‑deck moment. We are calling for Independent Redistricting Commissions in every state. It can and must be done. Seven states already have this. Get maps out of the hands of politicians and into the oversight of the people. We will not accept a return to Jim Crow‑style abuse.
Teaching is the everyday practice of the greater good. It’s showing up for the kids who depend on you and investing in their futures. It’s choosing empathy, patience, and dignity, even on the hardest days — because you know how much it matters. Teachers: thank you, we honor you, we stand with you.
To the Republicans in this district: I’m running to represent EVERYONE. We are fighting for The Things That Matter, like affording life, healthcare for all, securing our rights, funding our schools, and ensuring environmental justice is a priority. The constituents of District 13 are my priority.
Friends, we need to grab on to joy when we can. Today celebrate World Book Day, the theme is "Reading for Pleasure". So take a break from the world for a few hours and lose yourself in the pages of a good book. We can continue building our country into what it must become... after one more chapter.
I’m a lifelong Democrat — because I support policies that expand opportunity and protect working people. I don’t take a dime from corporations, PACs, or AIPAC. I’m unbought — I answer to my future constituents, not special interests. I am a grassroots, people-funded and led, progressive Democrat.
Americans want money out of politics. When I am elected to Congress, I'll join the effort to reverse Citizens United, one of the most consequential court decisions responsible for much of the corruption and loss of democratic ideals we are seeing today. brandtrobinsonfl.substack.com/p/americans-...
For 25 years, I’ve been deeply involved in my local teachers union — not just as a member, but as a representative defending contracts and educators’ rights across the district. And in Congress, I’ll support Unions and carry on the fight I know so well- the fight for our rights. #brandtforcongress
Our campaign is committed to fighting for an automatic enrollment in a comprehensive physical and mental healthcare plan, as well as a NATIONAL plan that supports veteran transition back into civilian life — including expanded education, homelessness‑prevention programs and community‑based support.
