Happy birthday Jane Austen! My love of Jane Austen started at University. I needed a novel course and it was either Austen or Dickens. I decided I would rather read an Austen novel each week rather than a Dickens (I wasn’t the only one!) 1/

Holidays have started, time to start watching some Christmas movies.

In elementary school, they would show this movie (Dr Syn, Alias the Scarecrow) to us the day before the holidays.

Watching a lot of James Stewart westerns lately (Winchester ‘76, Far Country, Destry Rides Again) and tonight it is The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. A great movie myth making, politics and the free press Ford and Wayne were both horrible people but they are both gone now, so I can enjoy the film

The Louvre was robbed. The police are still looking for the culprits but we all know who did it.

Watching Clear and Present Danger, a quaint, implausible 90s movie.

The Forsytes premiered in Britain. I won’t look at any reactions it will only make me angry. (Looks at reactions)
