At PMQs today, I pressed the Prime Minister on PFAS contamination affecting our constituency. He agreed that the Health Secretary and Environment Secretary should meet with me. This matters. Residents deserve joined-up action, clear answers and accountability from Government.

Recognising the state of Palestine was right. But it cannot be the end of the story. Illegal settlements are destroying the prospect of a two-state solution. I pressed the Foreign Secretary to ban settlement goods and stop UK firms, banks and individuals enabling them outright.

Even after concessions, the PIP plans remain deeply flawed and risk real harm to disabled people, carers and families. There’s no credible plan to support people into work. The Liberal Democrats will vote against this bill - and keep fighting for a fairer, more compassionate system.

“People used to say that the US was the world’s policeman. Some people will be wondering today whether Donald Trump is now behaving like the world’s hit man.” My comments on LBC this morning, urging the Government not to let the UK get drawn into this illegal, unilateral war.

I pressed Ministers again in Parliament on community benefit. My constituents deserves firm commitments before decisions are made on the Botley West plant. The Govt agrees – “responsible developers” should match the proposed levels. I’ll keep pushing Botley West to match the levels proposed.

A year ago, I told the PM: scrap Ofwat. Today – after relentless Lib Dem pressure – the Govt has listened. The new regulator must be fit to task. But this is just the start. Our rivers are poisoned. Ministers must now commit to ending all sewage dumping into bathing waters by 2030. No excuses.

Family court delays are leaving families thousands of £ out of pocket, with no route to recover those costs when hearings are pulled at the last minute. I pressed the minister to explain what the Govt is doing to tackle these delays & the financial strain they place on families.
