The recent cuts to science agencies pose a real and present danger to our communities, as they threaten everything from cancer research to our ability to monitor climate threats like wildfire.

Today, I signed a petition that would force a vote to protect Medicaid and SNAP. Hundreds of thousands of people in my district rely on these programs to meet their basic needs, including accessing health care and putting food on the table.
