I want to be clear: I support full tribal sovereignty and would work with Tribal Nations and the Legislature to pass legislation within my first 100 days in office.

We’ve traveled all over this state since last June, visited hundreds of towns, and met thousands of people. I grew up in a rural town and still live there today. I heard loud and clear that rural communities need a governor who will show up. A governor who will fight for them everyday.

We are facing another blow to Maine's families as maternity services are being considered for closure at Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta. We need to ask Maine Health to NOT close another unit and do much more to reverse this trend across rural Maine.

Child care is too expensive and too hard to find. As governor, I’ll expand affordable access, support childcare workers, and make Maine a place where all our families can thrive.

Health care isn't a privilege, it's a necessity. I’ll fight to keep Mainers covered, invest in primary care, maternity care, and reproductive health care, and I’ll make sure our rural communities don’t lose access to essential services.
