As the mom of two teenage kids in public school, I have a lot to say when it comes to education and investing in our teachers and our classrooms. Because investing in Maine’s future starts in our schools.

I don’t back down from a fight, especially when it matters for Maine people. That’s why I’ve been endorsed by over 100 elected leaders. They have seen me stand up to powerful interests before, and I’ll do it again as governor. I’ll always fight for you.

I want to be clear: I support full tribal sovereignty and would work with Tribal Nations and the Legislature to pass legislation within my first 100 days in office.

Child care is too expensive and too hard to find. As governor, I’ll expand affordable access, support childcare workers, and make Maine a place where all our families can thrive.

In Maine, we show up for our neighbors. Our next governor should too.

We cannot solve Maine’s housing crisis by thinking small. We need to build faster, invest in communities, and dramatically increase housing production so working people can actually afford to stay here in Maine.

Young people see how the impacts of climate change will make life harder on so many levels for Mainers. I’m grateful that they trust me to lead. They know I won’t shy away from big fights with powerful polluters and I’ll take action.

Early voting started this week! Here are a couple things you might not know about the upcoming primary.

Families are working harder and still falling behind. Donald Trump is making it worse. And Mainers deserve a governor who will stand up and fight back. I will never give up. I will never back down.
