Am 5. Dezember jährt sich zum 30. Mal dieser historische Ausschnitt aus der #Tagesschau. Alle Deutschen sollten ihn in diesen Zeiten sehen. Es gibt ein Primat von Diplomatie und Verhandlungslösungen. Aber wer souveräne Grenzen nicht achtet und Eroberungskriege startet, darf damit nicht durchkommen.

Sinnvollere Dinge, die weniger bekannt und deutlich weniger teuer sind:

Donald Trump spielt wie in einem seiner Casinos mit dem Schicksal der Vereinigten Staaten und ihrer Bevölkerung. Doch mehr und mehr republikanische Abgeordnete und Gouverneure setzen sich von seiner Regierungspolitik ab, weil die Menschen spüren, was deren verheerende Konsequenzen sind.

2 Tage lang habe ich in 🇨🇦 Hauptstadt #Ottawa Gespräche geführt, über die aktuelle politische Lage vor den Neuwahlen und die großen Herausforderungen, vor denen das Land steht. Dabei ist überragend deutlich geworden, wie entscheidend die Bereitschaft der europäischen Partner ist, #Kanada mitzudenken.

Die Grünen haben ein neues Kapitel bei ihrer Gestaltung des Landes aufgeschlagen und in den Verhandlungen mit der Merz-Regierung dem Investitionspaket sowie der Reform der Schuldenbremse eine nachhaltige Ausrichtung gegeben. Sie stellen damit sicher, dass tatsächlich in die Zukunft investiert wird.
