Today on Earth Day, I want to be honest with you about where things stand. The progress we’ve made to protect our planet, our people, and our health is under the most serious attack it has faced in a generation.

Wind and solar are the cheapest sources of new electricity. The Administration knows it, and their own Department of Energy says so. So what have they spent the last year doing? Killing the energy sources that would actually lower your bills.

Americans need affordable, homegrown energy that isn’t subject to the volatility of global oil markets. Trump is doing everything in his power, and spending nearly a billion of your dollars, to make sure you don’t get it.

Your energy bills are going up. Here's one reason why. Trump canceled over 300 clean energy projects across the country that would have lowered your costs and added power to the grid.

The Secretary of Health and Human Services came to a congressional budget hearing this week and did not know what was in his own budget. If he doesn’t know what he’s cutting, he has no business deciding what gets cut.

🚨BREAKING: The White House just sent this one-pager to Senate Republicans on the $1.776 billion “weaponization” fund. Congress never appropriated a dime. Trump’s former defense lawyer decides who gets paid. Even Senators are eligible. This is the January 6th Slush Fund.
