The response to the Ebola outbreak in DRC is critically under-resourced. Oxfam's DRC Country Director, Dr Manenji Mangundu, who is leading our response on the ground, told BBC World Service Radio that shortfalls in funding are crippling efforts to stop the virus spreading.

Clemence Lagouardat, Oxfam's humanitarian response lead in the OPT, spoke to the BBC R4 Today programme about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza.

“When the funding was reduced, the resources shrank a lot, and this put people at high risk not only for Ebola but also cholera and mpox. It’s an emergency full of emergencies,” Oxfam’s DRC Country Director told Sky News speaking about the Ebola outbreak in the country.
