PSA: With tornado season approaching, here are some tornado safety tips. If you see a tornado coming directly at you, you should immediately abandon your vehicle in the middle of the road, run towards the tornado and stand directly beneath power lines to get pictures of it.

Is this tornado-shaped? This footage is absolute trash, but if you play it back at 3x speed, I think this definitely confirms a very weak tornado. At the time, I was uncertain that I was observing a ground circulation. Would probably have been easier if I wasn't parked in the inflow jet.

This problem has nuance and it’s more than just “bad storm chasers are bad.” There is an entire media ecosystem that lacks accountability and nobody is talking about it. It’s irresponsible radar apps. It’s people like Ryan hall. It’s solo chasers who won’t carpool.

No Kings was a festival, not a protest. It wasn't applying pressure or inconveniencing anyone in power. Politicians had no more reason to care about it than Coachella. Protest needs to be disruptive. Affecting real change requires being a thorn in the side of authority and this just ain't it.
