What happened last night at our short BOS meeting!

We just had our first board meeting today and if you’re curious about what happened, here’s the scoop in about 90 seconds! 1. Approved the hiring of a new fire chief 🚒 2. I will be sitting on the Chamber Public Policy and Regional Transit Authority boards 3. Appointed a planning commissioner!

One thing I’ve learned is that there’s an official association of Virginia Counties and they sometimes like to advocate for bad policies! We need to get in the cart, and on the train, and get housing built near transit!
