My Death with Dignity bill is about compassion and giving terminally ill Wisconsinites the freedom to spend their last days where and with whomever they choose, without being forced to endure additional pain and suffering.

This Earth Day, we’re reminded of our shared responsibility to protect our planet. I’m committed to carry forward Wisconsin’s legacy in protecting our water, land, and future.

It is now the law: Extending eligibility for occupational licenses to Dreamers is a great achievement for Wisconsin. My Democratic colleagues and I fought hard for this legislation.

Happy First Day of Spring!

A big win for women’s health in Wisconsin! Gail’s Law is now on the books. It will give more women access to lifesaving breast cancer screenings. My legislative colleagues and I have fought alongside Gail’s remarkable family to get this law passed. Gail has left an incredible legacy.

Wisconsin has finally extended MA Postpartum Care to a year. We'll improve the health of moms and babies and reduce the unacceptable rates of maternal mortality among Black women. My Democratic colleagues and I fought hard on this issue. Gratified to see the bill signed into law.

It is past time to legalize recreational cannabis in Wisconsin. My Democratic colleagues and I have introduced a bill that would establish a regulated market that prioritizes public safety, realize the economic benefits of legalization, and reduce harm to communities.
