I am not a member of the military, but this year on Memorial Day as we solemnly remember those that have fought and died to defend the Constitution, democracy, and the freedoms of those around the world, let us keep a keen eye towards defending those freedoms here at home.

The DC Activist Street Band made it onto an Associated Press video of the No Kings DC march across the bridge and on the National Mall! You can definitely hear me say "I know they're chanting, we're gonna play anyway!" A powerful day of patriotism, but remember that sustained action is important!
