Minnesota has a proud heritage of protecting our natural resources. Today, on Earth Day, I want to be clear that I will use the auditor’s office to continue that legacy in any way I can.

Last night, DFLers showed up in historic numbers to participate in our democracy, stand up to ICE, and to support our neighbors. I was so inspired by the number of people who attended a caucus for the first time ever!

Being on the State Board of Investments is not the biggest part of being State Auditor, but I get a lot of questions about it as I travel all over the state.

Happy Tax Day! Today is a day to celebrate the volunteers who serve their communities by helping folks file their taxes all across our state. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to assist their neighbors, local communities, and towns this tax season.

I have traveled to more than 100 cities over the past six months, which means plenty of driving time. In between meet and greets, conventions, and team meetings, I’m always on the phones talking to folks about what they want to see in their next State Auditor.

It was great joining the Redwood County DFL meeting last night. There were over 50 people in the room, with more than half of them attending a DFL event for the first time. Minnesotans are fed up with the federal occupation of our state, and are ready to put those feelings into action!

On Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. As the only candidate in this race who has served in a combat zone, that experience shaped my commitment to human rights. That’s why I’m so committed to ethically investing our dollars in Minnesota.
