I am delighted that Eye now has a permanent post office again. For far too long, residents have been left without this vital service. With no bank in the town, having a post office is crucial for businesses and residents.

It was great to be at Morrison’s in Diss, holding an open surgery, where people could come and talk about the issues affecting them. From potholes and the need to improve bus services to restoring our rural health services.

There is much to welcome in the Govt Schools White Paper, especially on supporting young people earlier. I asked the SoS for Education to recognise that more needs to be done to improve inclusion schools & increase alternative provision for the young people who need it.

It was great knocking on doors with Ed Gillespie in Harleston. I know he will make a phenomenal councillor for East Depwade, which covers Harleston, the Pulhams and the surrounding villages.

Will Porteous is getting a great response on the doorstep. Living in Roydon with his family, he has been working for a better community for years. Now, he is ready to take the next step. On election day, Will is standing to be County Councillor for Diss and Roydon.
