I asked what the Govt's ambition is for access to NHS dentistry. Sadly, the Minister did not answer my question. Of course, we need dental contract reform & training places. But if we are serious about NHS dentistry being accessible to everyone, the Govt's ambition has got to be much greater.

Young people deserve affordable ways to get to college, work and training, in both rural & urban areas. Free bus travel for under-22s removes cost as a barrier and helps tackle isolation.

The Govt’s own assessment warns that climate change & biodiversity loss threaten long-term food security & worsen natural disasters. I’m pressing for a debate on the Joint Intelligence Assessment so Parliament can scrutinise this important report.

We have a dental desert in East Anglia, & the UEA stands ready to open a new dental school. They have the necessary permissions, but crucially are waiting for the Govt to confirm funded undergraduate dental places. I've again pressed the Minister on when this will be available.

I've spoken at the National Growth Debate today on the need to address energy security, bring down people's bills, and tackle climate breakdown. While today's announcements are welcome, we still need to do a lot more if we're to protect people from the increasing economic shocks.
