Working people are forced to cut back on the essentials like groceries and gas, while billionaire CEOs and giant corporations get even richer. Enough is enough. A union contract is how workers, who actually create the profit, take back their power and get their fair share.

With advancing AI tech impacting our economy, this is a transformational moment for students across the country. @aft.org and President @rweingarten.bsky.social have a powerful plan to create thriving classrooms with guardrails for the use of AI in our schools.

A union contract means fair wages. It means dignity and respect on the job, better benefits, fairness and more. Our @unitehere.org union sister Christy is right: the union difference is real!

Voting rights are workers' rights. When working people have a real voice at the ballot box, we can elect leaders who will protect our rights. As Tennessee AFL-CIO President Billy Dycus said, voting rights are under attack, but America’s unions are mobilizing and fighting back!

The SCORE Act is a union-busting bill that would diminish the voices and job protections of college athletes. College athletes are workers, too. They put in unmatched effort so schools can rake in millions. Congress must reject the SCORE Act and protect athletes’ NIL rights.

Voting rights are workers’ rights. When working people have a real voice at the ballot box, we can elect leaders who protect our right to join a union, ensure safe workplaces, live free from discrimination and retire in dignity. The Supreme Court has undermined workers’ voices.

The Senate Banking Committee cowered to Crypto Super PACs over the interests of working people by passing the CLARITY Act and exposing our retirement savings to volatile cryptocurrency. If this bill heads to the floor, we urge senators to stand up for working people and vote NO.

AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Fred Redmond joined @lesliemarshallshow.bsky.social to discuss the Louisiana v. Callais Supreme Court decision and its attack on the fundamental freedoms of working people. Voting rights are workers’ rights, and we’ll keep fighting to defend those rights every day.

Every job is now a technology job. But Big Tech Billionaires shouldn’t get to decide who wins and who loses in this new economy. Working people need AI guardrails and a strong voice on the job to make sure THEY are in the driver's seat to define this new tech future.
