Right now, there's a strong emphasis on hyper-realistic content in creative AI. We've seen how the performance of image models is evaluated through benchmarks, which is a very strange way of looking at creativity.

One of the elephants in the room of video AI is that "AI actors" are really bad... Past models struggle at generating "lifelike" humans, there's always something off, and although the latest models are impressive, they still lack the basic experience of working with actors:

Video models can do more than what people think: you can directly go from regular footage to a new environment, but also at the same time simulate wet ground as well as rain or other effects.
