We have never seen corruption like this. This conduct is so beyond the pale that Donald Trump and Todd Blanche must be removed from office immediately.

I spent two hours yesterday at Delaney Hall in Newark where 700 detainees are being held by ICE. What I saw and heard was horrific: worm-infested food and no access to medical care. Many of the detainees were lawful visa holders. This is not America. This is unacceptable, and it has to stop now.

Now we know that Trump has already spent $25 billion on his senseless war in Iran when we have an affordability crisis at home. Let's bring our troops home, stop wasting our money on this illegal and immoral war, and start spending it on working families.

Trump knows he controls DOJ & has Congressional Republicans wrapped around his finger. The depths of his corruption know no bounds. Mike Johnson & my Republican colleagues: silence is complicity. When we take back the House, I will ensure every crook involved with this scheme is held accountable.

Yesterday, I voted against Trump's illegal war in Iran. Unfortunately, my GOP colleagues chose to cowardly stand with Trump & against the American people. When this comes back to the floor next week, will the GOP continue to bend the knee to the maniac in the WH or stand up for their constituents?

Yesterday, hundreds of union members protested Brad Lander for blaming them for the housing crisis that happened on his watch. Brad was only “pro-labor” when he thought it would get him support. When the vast majority of labor unions in NYC endorsed me over him, he turned his back on them.

Due process is fundamental to our constitution. Democracy doesn’t exist without it. Trump's continued purging of immigration judges who don’t follow his demands is a blatant violation of due process. We must pass my legislation to get immigration courts out of the Executive branch.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Trump and Netanyahu should never have started this reckless war in Iran. It’s time to end it and tackle the challenges we’re facing at home. New Yorkers need a more affordable city, not another never-ending war.
