Says the man who cost farmers $40+ billion in lost markets due to his tariffs and is now increasing their costs with a war that is making fuel and fertilizer more expensive.

Secretary Rollins' big plan for farmers hit by fertilizer price spikes from Trump's Iran war is... switching from corn to soybeans. Soybeans. The crop Trump's trade war decimated. The markets Trump handed to Brazil and Argentina — and they're not coming back.

Retaliatory tariffs hurt farmers. In Trump’s 2018 trade war, Washington State’s apple exports went from a $120 million market to a $1 million market. They’re only finally recovering 7 years later.

A pound of beef is now more than the minimum wage. Grocery prices are going through the roof, but Trump and Republicans aren't doing anything about it. Instead, they chose to cut $187 billion from food assistance. They don't care if you can't afford to eat.

Nickle and diming seniors and working parents who receive food assistance is pathetic.

Farmers took a gut punch from Trump's trade wars. While they’re still down, fertilizer costs are surging from Trump’s war in Iran. When does it stop?

The hoops that Republicans want to make hungry families, seniors and veterans jump through just to secure a little help to cover the cost of a meal is absolutely egregious.
