Yesterday night, a +20 year old Alstom 4 car southbound Shanghai Metro Line 5 train was disabled at Chunshen Road Station. It seems Shanghai Metro told an in-service 6 car CRRC Line 5 train to reverse back and rescue the train to drag it back to the depot while still serving passengers on the way.

Conventional electric locomotive passenger train on the Lanzhou–Xinjiang HSL AKA the Lanzhou–Xinjiang Passenger Line or Lanxin 2nd Double Track Line. This line shifts most passenger service away from the old Lanxin railway and allow it to be dedicated for freight transport.
