A railfan at around 11:00PM captured a period on the Beijing-Guangzhou HSL where China Railways schedules a pack of 8 high speed sleeper trains heading to various destinations in south China from Beijing. Lead by an inspection train all 9 trains cleared this section in 2 hours.

A few days ago, China builds and opens an elevated fully automated light metro in Kazakhstan and then calls it "Light Rail". Costs 80 million INT$/km to build tho.

Shanghai Metro Line 21 East Extension Wenju Road Station construction progress. Line 21 is a 48km long, 23 station, north south eastern suburban tangential metro line using 6 car Type A trains running up to 100kph. Stations will have overtaking loops for express services.

Shenzhen Metro Line 19 Phase 1 Yanziling Station construction. Construction started in May 2024 and Phase I is scheduled to open in 2028. Phase I is 13km long with 12 stations and runs fully underground using 4 car Type A trains. Estimated to cost 275 million INT$/km to build.
