A man serving time for tax and nursing-home crimes allegedly bought his way out of prison with a network of right-wing operatives, lobbyists, and lawyers, all connected to Trump. His name is Joseph Schwartz. He paid nearly $1 million to people with direct access to the president to secure a pardon.

He’s not avoiding just the word “war.” He’s violating the Constitution. A war by any other name is still a war. And it still requires an act of Congress.

With a single stroke of a pen, Donald Trump pardoned roughly 1,500 people who violently stormed the United States Capitol on the first day of his second term in office. He pardoned without exception, without condition, and without any regard for what they had done or who they had hurt.

This Administration’s response to severe doctor shortages at VA facilities was to eliminate thousands of medical positions.

President Trump told the American people he was launching a historic crackdown on fraud. He even went so far as to give JD Vance the title “Fraud Czar.” Well guess what? He’s been pardoning fraudsters left and right.

The Department of Energy canceled 321 grants worth $7.5 billion last October. Every single one was in a state that voted against the President. Not a single project in a red state was touched. This week, I asked Energy Secretary Wright a simple question: why?

Oil companies knew for decades that burning their products would harm the planet. They funded the science, they saw the projections, and then they spent millions burying it.

This President has not provided Congress with a single meaningful briefing on a war he started seven weeks ago without our authorization, without a plan, and without a strategy for how it ends.
