Ese huevo es reclamado por la Shobijin sin éxito. Al parecer es el último huevo puesto por Mothra que está a punto de cerrar su círculo vital. El "empresaurio" se niega a devolverlo y sólo nuestros protagonistas intentan hacer lo que es debido y recuperar ese huevo pero sin éxito también.

¿Tiene batallas épicas? Sí. Pero su punto cómico le quita peso y la reduce a una película de monstruos zurrándose y ya.

La banda sonora no acompaña, pues se omite la creación de Akira Ifukube (más allá del grito de Godzilla) y la música compuesta por Masaru Sato es irrelevante, no aporta nada. Da igual si es una escena de acción o tranquila, es plana, omitible. Y eso es una pena.

Es en esa localización donde contamos con una primera escena de kaiju, en esta ocasión el monstruo gigante es un pulpo destruyendo un escenario a escala. Lo interesante es que juegan mucho con la sobreposición de escenas para conseguir el efecto de humanos pequeños vs monstruo grande.

Lo que no se olvida fácilmente son sus efectos especiales. Se nota que Eiji Tsuburaya seguía al mando porque las escenas de lucha y destrucción son más intensas y largas. Por primera vez, Godzilla se enfrenta a un nuevo kaiju: Anguirus o Anguilas, según el idioma.

Y también es el #Godzilla más patoso de toda la saga...

En esta ocasión la trama empieza con unos pilotos que tienen que hacer un amerizaje de emergencia y llegan a una isla supuestamente inhabitada donde de repente presencian una batalla entre Godzilla y Anguirus.

#KingKongvsGodzilla es una de las películas más conocidas y que a más países llegó en su momento. La lástima es que es una de las menos profundas y con argumento más simplón.

A mi parecer, era la única excusa que encontraron para la escena que yo titulo “granizado de Godzilla”. En su mente debían tener esta idea para acabar con Godzilla y lo montaron un poco a parches para llegar a ella:

Las escenas en general son bastante inconexas, se nota qué momento buscan como aquí dónde recrean la mítica escena del tren de Godzilla con la de Kong llevándose a la chica.
