2/2 4 weitere wurden verletzt. Mindestens 13 Gebäude stürzten ein, und mehr als 7.000 Bewohner wurden evakuiert. Es wurden auch Erdrutsche und Störungen im Verkehr gemeldet. Das 2. Erdbeben der Stärke 5,2 wurde am selben Tag gegen 21:44 Uhr Ortszeit in derselben Gegend registriert. ⤵️

3️⃣ Ein aktiver Erdrutsch blockierte die Zufahrtsstraße zu dem Gebiet vollständig. Dieses Ereignis ereignete sich während einer langanhaltenden Regenzeit in Ecuador, in der für die Provinz Loja eine erhöhte Alarmstufe galt.⤵️
