As Chair of the Pharmacy APPG and a pharmacist for nearly 20 years, I was proud to champion community pharmacy in Parliament. Community pharmacy is one of the NHS's most accessible and efficient assets - and that's exactly why last week's funding settlement matters.

Over 90 years ago Aer Lingus took its first flight to Bristol Airport in 1936. I was pleased to mark 90 years of history by taking a flight in the original model of plane, right over #NorthSomerset.

Even after a successful outcome, the financial side of the process didn’t feel proportionate. After spending over £23,000, only a small portion of that was recovered for John and the other residents.

One of the key takeaways from John’s experience is the importance of working collaboratively with other leaseholders.
