We’ve wrapped up this year’s legislative session, sending 17 bills to the Governor’s desk — 2 already signed. These bills strengthen CARE Court, support wildfire victims against price gouging, expand public campaign financing across CA, help safeguard our democracy and more.

If we don’t act, who will? Who is going to act on behalf of people in our communities being targeted simply because of their language, their occupation, or the color of their skin? It is our time. That’s why I voted yes on SB 747.

Latest update on the Garden Grove situation: emergency personnel continue monitoring the tank closely after a crack was identified that may potentially be relieving pressure. Officials have advised that it is still unclear whether this will resolve the situation, and the area remains unsafe.
