As we've seen high energy prices exacerbated by the President's war in Iran, I asked Secretary Wright why he's proposing to eliminate funding for successful energy efficiency programs that are saving my constituents hundreds on their energy bills.

The President hasn't laid out a clear strategy. He's not shared that with the American people. He's not shared that with Congress. He's decided to go to war without authorization from Congress and the threat of escalation continues.

The public clearly opposes this war because it is driving up costs at the gas pump, the grocery store, and in housing and energy prices. That has real ramifications. People are unhappy because they thought this president was running to address affordability.

Putin and Xi and other dictators are playing Donald Trump. They understand that if they flatter him, if they make him think he's important, that they're going to be able to get something from him.

As communities struggle under President Trump's cuts to food assistance, they're also dealing with his tariffs at a cost of $1,600 a household. My constituents are being squeezed on both sides—paying more after cuts to food assistance while seeing higher grocery bills.

Republicans in Congress and the Trump Administration are ripping away access to reproductive care from veterans who dedicated their lives to serving our nation.
