We must impeach and remove Donald Trump. And we will. #NY12

What we're seeing at Delaney Hall is symptomatic of what we saw in Minneapolis and across the country. It needs to stop. We need to abolish ICE, and we must restore a sensible, legal, and humane immigration policy. #NY12

We face a lot of problems in New York and America. But we can't solve any of them as long as Donald Trump, a criminal, is our president. We need to impeach him, remove him from office, and get to the point where we can actually address issues like taxation, energy, infrastructure, and healthcare.

"We have to talk about Trump at the same time we talk about the wellbeing of the American people. ... People want to treat these as separate issues because they feel helpless to do anything about Trump. And so they wanna say, 'Well let's pretend, let's just wish him out of the picture.'"

"Among a lot of Democrats there's what psychologists would call learned helplessness where you just think, 'Well we can't do anything about it. We have to wait till 2029' ... In New York with some it's like, 'We just have to do our things in New York and not worry about the rest of the country.'...

Too many people have accepted Trump’s presidency as "normal." Too many believe there is nothing we can do, and that we simply need to outlast his term. We cannot endure another 32 months with this mendacious, narcissistic, rapist, want to be dictator who is selling us out to the highest bidder.
