I think Instagram has finally perfected my feed

I’m enjoying the new Bond game but it’s got a few strange mechanics.

Given that their remit was probably “don’t fuck it up,” IOI understandably plays it safe with most of First Light - but striking up the Bond theme while I’m evading capture in a garbage truck is primetime IP subversion. Laughed my ass off.

Not flawless. I still need to negotiate active cover better. But lord this was satisfying. Outmanned, no weapon, stuck in a corner. Game’s simple enough that I know all the tools and complex enough that I can do a bunch of things with them.

Weird, precarious build tonight. Burn four hands playing red seal lucky cards to power up Lucky Cat (which I eventually got to x27 mult), then point Blueprint and Brainstorm at Dusk with the final hand to trigger five glass Kings three additional times each. Just 15 cards left in the deck.
