Yesterday, we took Yuki for a tomography to check if he had a brain tumor. His owner abandoned him when he became sick and almost blind, and we arrived just in time to save this poor soul. He has a severe autoimmune disease common in Shiba Inus, but we didn’t know why his neck was deformed.

I tried tossing the food, but it didn’t encourage them to approach. So, I decided to leave the food on the ground and quietly walked away. Once I left, I could see them eagerly coming out to eat. When I returned with another bag of food, I found they had already ate everything and were hiding again

Maybe for the people who abandon them, they’re nothing more than just garbage, but not for us. For us, they’re all treasures! And while little Mauri enjoys his first evening with his new family, we’re heading home too, ready to help more stray dogs, which is only possible thanks to your support

. Soon, they must be dewormed and vaccinated, and I have to buy vaccines and dewormer for all of them, including the shelter babies and six more who are in temporary accommodation. It will cost a lot, but it's the least I can do.

While feeding the poor puppies at the tractor brigade, we spotted her: a tiny pregnant dog. We tried to take her ourselves, but she was too cautious and never let us get close. We spoke with the brigade’s owner, and he turned out to be a really kind man.
