Fortunately, everything went perfectly, and he’s completely healthy! Today, we began our journey, and we hope to arrive soon. And while little Mauri is peacefully sleeping on my lap (you can even hear him in the background 😄), could you wish us good luck? 🙏

When little Mauri was finally ready to go to his forever home, just one last heart exam and heartworm test stood between him and his new family. We recently visited the hospital, and he behaved so well during the checkup, almost like he knew how important it was!

But when we finally reached our trusted vet, he started suffering terribly… They attempted emergency surgery, but during the procedure, they discovered his lungs and liver were almost completely necrotic. He never stood a chance. We let him go without pain, but the worst news?

Little Mauri is finally home with his new loving family and is already enjoying his new life! It's the best reward for me to see how rescued dogs go from abandonment and suffering to joy and happiness! It’s worth all the efforts, sleepless nights, and more than all the money in this world!
