Despite all my efforts, I can't erase Duke and Bella's past. They will likely never fully trust humans again and will always fear new people they meet. And honestly, who could blame them after everything they've been through…?

For my whole life, I couldn't stay in one place. I needed to see new places, explore new horizons, meet new people, and always be on the move. Staying in one spot drove me crazy. But everything changed when I joined the shelter team and found true joy in helping dogs in Moldova.

If you're following my account, you already know a bit about me and my biggest passion: traveling. Throughout my life, I was always told where to go and when to be there, but now I want to live my life on my own terms. My second greatest passion is all animals, especially dogs.

At the shelter, he found new friends and lived happily, until parvovirus struck. He got sick too, but his strong little body fought through, and soon he was healthy again. And the best news? A wonderful family adopted Mauri, and next Saturday, we’ll start his journey to his forever home!

Today, I took him for a vet checkup, and his sonography came back clear: no health issues at all! He also had his first-ever shower and even enjoyed it in the end. 😄 Now, there's just one last step: a cardiologist visit tomorrow. But I don’t have the funds to pay for it...

Sometimes, medicine isn't enough. Even after little Duke recovered physically, he was still terrified, fearing everyone would hurt him: just like the cruel people in his past… But true love is the real cure. Now, this little one is happy, learning to trust, and enjoying every moment of his life.

After little Mauri was rescued by our team from the field where he was cruelly abandoned, he lived in the shelter, in an enclosure with the other puppies, never seeing the outside world and not understanding how big and beautiful it is.
