How is it Trump's nominee for the IAEA, a key nuclear inspection agency, didn't know that both the IAEA AND Trump's 1st Admin certified that Iran was in compliance with the JCPOA? The JCPOA was preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Trump ripped it up & started a war.

In addition to the 13 American servicemembers who have been killed, Trump's war has resulted in the deaths of over 2,000 civilians in the region, including over 100 Iranian school kids. All of them should be alive today. To stop the killing we must end the war, NOW.

Instead of needlessly stationing armed ICE agents at our airports, Republicans and Trump should just pay TSA. It's that simple. And if Republicans would stop blocking us, we could fund TSA, FEMA, and more TODAY.

Yesterday, Trump announced a $1.8 BILLION taxpayer funded slush fund for his allies & friends. Today, I asked acting AG Blanche if Jan 6 rioters who assaulted police & committed violent crimes, would be eligible for payouts. He couldn't say no.

Wednesday night, Trump claimed victory in his war in Iran.   This has been anything but a win. Iran now firmly controls the Strait of Hormuz & its leaders are more hardline than before.   We are less safe & Americans, the region, & the world are paying a very heavy price.

Next week, Republicans will have another chance to vote with us to end the war in Iran. @sanders.senate.gov & I will also call for a vote to stop the sale of US taxpayer-funded weapons to the Netanyahu gov, which has used them in violation of international law. We must end these wars.
