What the hell. PURA got this dead wrong. This decision delivers $68 million more in profits and hundreds of thousands of dollars in bonus pay for corporate executives. We’re suing the Dept of Education over a new rule that could unlawfully limit access to federal student loans for those pursuing professional programs. The Trump/McMahon plan to drive down education costs by barring student loans defies Congress, the law, reality, and will do real damage.

Yesterday, I argued before the PURA to reject the sale of Aquarion. The board already rejected this deal in Nov. Nothing has changed. Yet earlier this month, PURA reversed course and preliminary approved it. 720k+ people across 62+ cities are now at risk of higher water bills and weaker oversight.

The Supreme Court already made it clear Trump didn't have the authority to impose the first round of tariffs. Now, the administration is trying again under a different statute that doesn't apply. We're suing him again.

This is a bombshell that blows open the entire Aquarion decision. PURA completely missed half a billion dollars in rate increases. Their entire decision rested on bad math based on incomplete information. There's no question that PURA must immediately reconsider its decision and reject the sale.

Connecticut families cannot afford higher bills. PURA's decision puts corporate profits ahead of ratepayers. We'll keep fighting in every single proceeding before PURA to ensure Connecticut families do not pay a penny more than absolutely necessary.
