On Radio 5 Live's MP Panel this morning, I set out why the Liberal Democrats were right to call for the King's visit to the USA to be cancelled. As we saw overnight, Trump embarrassed the King by divulging their conversation about Iran - a clear breach of protocol.

I raised the issue of failures in the governance of Multi-Academy Trusts with ministers. Failures at the University of Brighton Academy Trust were left unchecked for far too long. The government acknowledges that there is an issue here, which is welcome, but we need to ensure that action follows.
